Curious if coaching is right for you? This FAQ page will help you discover what coaching is (and isn’t) and answer common coaching questions so you can make an informed, empowered choice.

What Coaching Is

  • Coaching is a co-creative process. We work together to explore your goals, patterns, and vision for the future. I bring structure and supportive coaching tools.

  • You are the expert in your life. Coaching honors your bio-individuality, intuition, and lived experience. It meets you where you are now and helps you stay the course toward your future vision.

  • Coaching helps you move from intention to integration and action—building practices that are nourishing not exhausting.

  • Coaching offers a safe space for reflection, encouragement, and gentle accountability. You’ll be met with empathy, not judgment, and supported in honoring your own pace and process.

  • Coaching recognizes that wellness isn’t one-dimensional—it’s shaped by the relationships between your physical health, emotional landscape, mental patterns, and spiritual rhythms. Rather than isolating symptoms or goals, we look at the whole picture: your routines, your environment, your beliefs, and your lived experience. This approach helps you create change that feels integrated, sustainable, and true to who you are.

What Coaching Isn’t

  • Coaching is not clinical care. I don’t treat, diagnose, or prescribe—and I won’t interpret lab results or make medical recommendations. Instead, coaching complements your healthcare journey by helping you integrate guidance from your providers into your daily life.

  • While coaching can feel therapeutic, it’s not psychotherapy. We won’t dive into diagnostic frameworks or clinical interventions. Coaching focuses on forward movement—clarifying your goals, building emotional resilience, and creating systems that support your growth. If deeper healing work is needed, I’ll always honor that and help you advocate for your needs.

  • Coaching isn’t about handing you a plan and hoping it sticks. It’s about co-creating what truly fits—rooted in your rhythms, values, and lived experience. An effective health coach is a personal navigator for your wellness journey who doesn’t just hand you a map but walks alongside you while you draw it out. There’s no universal formula—only personalized, adaptive support.

  • I won’t tell you what to do, and I won’t push you toward someone else’s version of wellness. Instead, I’ll help you uncover what feels aligned, doable, and meaningful for you. Coaching is about building self-trust, not following rules.

  • Coaching is a shame-free zone. We honor your pace, your story, and your evolving definition of wellness. There’s no “right way” to heal, grow, or change—only your way. You’ll be met with compassion, curiosity, and respect, no matter where you are on your journey.

Common Coaching Questions

What are the Benefits of Doing 6-Months of Coaching?

  • Research shows that creating a new habit takes on average 66 days but can take up to 254 days depending on setbacks experienced and the difficulty of change. Six months allows the space needed to release old habits and limiting beliefs, manage the inevitable emotional triggers that come with making change, and create confidence in your ability to accept, adapt, adjust, and action step yourself towards your future self.

  • Six months lets you experience your new habits across different life events, relationships, holidays, and seasons. Real-life scenarios are where you learn how to adapt and maintain your wellness goals, and the dedicated support of a health coach can be a game changer as you navigate a new normal out in the world.

  • From spreadsheets to journaling, I create progress tracking that best fits your personal needs. Having regular sessions together also creates an environment that helps you stay on track and navigate setbacks. You are not just creating a future you; you are building resilience and working with someone in your corner who is ready to guide you through challenges and keep you moving forward.

Do I Need to Have a Specific Goal Before I Start Coaching?

Not at all— clarity is something we often cultivate through coaching, not a prerequisite to begin.

What if I’ve tried coaching before and it didn’t work?

That’s completely valid—and more common than you might think. Sometimes coaching doesn’t resonate because it felt too rigid, too generic, or too focused on surface-level goals. Maybe you were handed a plan that didn’t reflect your lived experience, or you felt like you had to perform instead of exploring your vision and goals.

Supportive coaching with me is different. We don’t rush clarity or force change. We co-create a space where your story, your rhythms, and your emotional landscape are honored. I don’t offer one-size-fits-all solutions—I offer presence, adaptability, and coaching tools that meet you where you are.

If past coaching left you feeling unseen or overwhelmed, this is your invitation to try again—with a process that’s rooted in compassion, curiosity, and sustainable transformation designed to fit your life.
